Treatment at ICM
At the Institute, we offer treatments and courses, emphasizing the following TCM methods: acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na/An Mo massage, Qi Gong/ Tai Ji Quan and other traditional treatment methods of the Chinese-Japanese medical tradition. We also offer courses in other methods of healing, such as movement-based expressive arts therapy and relaxation.
The members of our ICM therapeutic team are all qualified and certified in their respective fields, for instance by the SBO-TCM (Swiss Association for TCM), Swiss Physiotherapy Association and Federation of Swiss Psychologists. Members of our team are fluent in one of more of the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Our practitioners are well oriented with the goals of the Hastings Report (Crigger, Bette-Jane, Ed., Cases in Bioethics: Selection from the Hastings Center Report, 1998), which emphasizes the following:
One of the goals of ICM is to promote the understanding of the healing arts, especially of Chinese medicine, and as well as to aid those in need of medical care.
