How does Acupuncture work?
During acupuncture, very fine needles are placed in specific points along energetic channels. The function of acupuncture is to regulate the Qi flow of the body and activate its self-healing capabilities.
Treatment
In a regular treatment session 1 to 24 fine needles may be used. The treatment time varies according to the specific problem of a individual, from 30min (Cold symptoms) up to 75 minutes (acute migrane). The interval of the treatments and duration depend on the pre-existing condition and the severity of the problem.
Other Methods
In combination with Acupuncture other methods might be utilized like Moxibustion, Electro-stimulation or Cupping to optimize the treatment.
