All our therapists are recognized by the EMR and ASCA organizations, EGK, Visana. Your treatments will be covered by most Swiss health insurances, if you have the supplement for Alternative/ Complementary Insurance (Zusatzversicherung für Alternativ/Komplementärmedizin). For other international insurances and specific policies coverage, please check with your provider.
ICM Mission Statement
Our ICM team is made up of Chinese Medicine and health practitioners who are deeply rooted in the local culture. The institute works to raise awareness in the West of the long tradition of Chinese Medicine in the world. In addition to this, we provide the local community with valuable treatment alternatives and a complement to conventional medical treatments.
At ICM, we are committed to the practice of Chinese medicine as a system of medicine that is both therapeutic and preventive, emphasizing the person as the main focus to creating health. We practice both traditional and modern methods of healing, aiming to further the standard of care for each individual.
Our practitioners are either recognized A-members of the Swiss Professional Organization for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM-FVS) and/ or hold the Swiss Federal Diploma in Naturopathy TCM, or recognized by the Swiss Red Cross in Physiotherapy. They have a high standard of training and attend regular continuing education in TCM as well as other health methods.
The ICM adheres to the ethical principles of the Swiss Professional Organization for TCM (TCM-FVS).
